About Us For The Record is home for all things music. Founded by Jeremy D. Bonfiglio as a hobby business, FTR Vinyl now runs five record shows – South Bend Record Show, Glass City Record Show, Southwest Michigan Record Show, Bloomington Music Expo, and ROMP & Roll Record Show. It is home to a robust online record store and more. At his record shows on the road and at home, Jeremy carries a diverse mix of music, including jazz, country, soundtracks, punk, and more. He specializes in classic rock from the 1970s and pop and new wave from the 1980s. He is the go-to source for all things Elvis Costello, his favorite artist, as well as a host of ’80s chart-toppers, one-hit wonders, obscure power pop, synth pop, and new wave bands. Jeremy chose the For The Record moniker to pay homage to the print journalism industry. He spent 26 years as a newspaper writer and editor, mostly covering music and the arts. He interviewed a wide range of high-profile musicians throughout his career, including Kid Rock, Rick Springfield, Eddie Money, George Thorogood, Gordon Lightfoot, Graham Nash, Jonny Lang, Don Felder, Garry Tallent, Vince Neil, Vince Gill, Billy Strings, James JY Young, Jim Peterik, Buddy Guy, and many more. In 2022, Jeremy joined the team at BCW Supplies, the Middletown, Ind.-based hobby supply company, as its Music Category Manager.
