About Us
Fostering community through music
We are committed to fostering a vibrant music community through a series of vinyl record shows and music-focused events that are about more than just buying and selling. These gatherings bring like-minded collectors, sellers, and music fans together to connect, discover, and share their passion for music in its most authentic form.
As an attendee, you can expect a carefully curated marketplace featuring knowledgeable, professional vendors, from seasoned record store owners to passionate hobbyists. Whether you’re searching for rare pressings, affordable finds, or something completely unexpected, our vendors are approachable, informed, and ready to help.
For dealers, our shows are built with your success in mind. We take a thoughtful, strategic approach to every event, investing in targeted marketing, consistent promotion, and strong local outreach to drive serious buyers through the door. We don’t just set up tables and hope for the best. Our goal is to build sustainable, well-attended shows that vendors can count on. We believe in long-term relationships, clear communication, and creating shows that benefit the entire community.
Our mission is simple: great vendors, great customers, and great music all brought together in a way that keeps people coming back.
About Jeremy D. Bonfiglio
Jeremy chose the For The Record moniker to pay homage to the print journalism industry. He spent 26 years as a newspaper writer and editor, mostly covering music and the arts. During that time, he interviewed a wide range of high-profile musicians, including Kid Rock, Rick Springfield, Eddie Money, George Thorogood, Gordon Lightfoot, Graham Nash, Melissa Etheridge, Jonny Lang, Don Felder, Garry Tallent, Vince Neil, Vince Gill, Billy Strings, James JY Young, Jim Peterik, Buddy Guy, Jeff Daniels, and many more. He’s been a hired gun for No Depression magazine, the roots music authority, writing cover pieces on Nora Jane Struthers & The Party Line, The Black Lillies, and Eilen Jewell.
In 2022, he became the first Music Category Manager at BCW Supplies, a hobby supply company in Middletown, Indiana, where he works with record stores, pressing plants, and distributors to help protect, store, and display vinyl records, CDs, tapes, and more.
At record shows, Jeremy carries a diverse mix of music. He specializes in pre-loved 1980s pop and new wave, as well as new vinyl reissues from hard-to-find 1990s bands. He is the go-to source for all things Elvis Costello, his favorite artist, as well as a host of ’80s chart-toppers, one-hit wonders, obscure power pop, synth pop, and new wave bands.
